Eric Hanushek is the Paul and Jean Hanna Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is a leading expert on educational policy, specializing in the economics and finance of schools.
He has authored numerous books and articles on the subject. He previously held academic appointments at the University of Rochester, Yale University, and the U.S. Air Force Academy. Government service includes posts as the Deputy Director of the Congressional Budget Office and Senior Staff Economist for the Council of Economic Advisers. Eric is a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, where he earned his BS Degree. He completed his Ph.D. in economics at MIT.
